Job description

Production Operator – Food Manufacturing

Denton, TX | $19.00/hr | Temp-to-Hire


We are hiring Production Operators for a food manufacturing facility in Denton, TX. This is a physically demanding position in a non-climate-controlled environment.


Available Shifts

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
  • 3rd Shift: 11:30 PM – 7:00 AM


Pay & Benefits

  • $19.00/hour
  • Temp-to-Hire
  • $4.00/hour pay increase upon permanent hire
  • Shift differential available after permanent placement

Responsibilities

  • Support production operations in a food manufacturing facility
  • Perform general labor and material handling duties
  • Clean production equipment and work areas
  • Handle food-grade ingredients, including flour, spices, and other materials
  • Lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures


Work Environment – Please Read Before Applying

This is not a climate-controlled warehouse position. The work is physically demanding, and employees should be comfortable working in challenging conditions.

You can expect:

  • Hot, humid, and dusty work areas
  • Exposure to flour, spices, and other food-grade ingredients
  • Frequent cleaning of production equipment and work areas
  • Wet and slippery floors due to flour and water buildup
  • Continuous standing, bending, lifting, and physical activity
  • New employees often begin in production areas where cleaning is a significant part of the job

Requirements

  • Steel-toe shoes required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • No fake nails, acrylics, gel nails, or nail polish
  • No jewelry, including rings, watches, bracelets, necklaces, or facial jewelry
  • No exposed piercings
  • Must maintain good personal hygiene
  • Hair restraints, beard nets, and other required PPE must be worn
  • Must follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
