Job description

Position Summary:
We are seeking highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our Quality Assurance team as Quality Control Inspectors at various levels (I, II, III). The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring products meet company and customer quality standards through inspection and verification processes. Positions are available at entry, intermediate, and advanced levels, depending on experience and qualifications.


Key Responsibilities:

Quality Control Inspector I (Entry Level – Quality Technician I)

  • Inspect products using quality plans and basic metrology tools.
  • Operate measuring instruments such as TESA, OGP, pin gages, drop gages, and concentricity gages.
  • Perform visual inspections using microscopes, micrometers, and automated equipment.
  • Verify product conformance to Quality Control Plans.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Follow travelers, work instructions, and quality procedures.
  • Identify basic defects, sorting, and lot control.
  • Complete end-of-shift and job completion tasks, including housekeeping.
  • Comply with all safety policies, PPE, and hazardous material guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively in English and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Perform basic shop math and use basic computer systems.
  • Understand fundamentals of Quality Management Systems.

Quality Control Inspector II (Intermediate Level – Quality Technician II)

  • Perform inspections with minimal supervision.
  • Set up and calibrate inspection equipment.
  • Conduct complex dimensional and visual inspections.
  • Assist in identifying non-conforming products and initiating reports.
  • Support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Train or assist Quality Control Inspector I personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards and procedures.

Quality Control Inspector III (Advanced Level – Quality Technician III)

  • Independently perform advanced inspections and complex measurements.
  • Interpret highly technical drawings and specifications.
  • Lead troubleshooting for quality issues and collaborate with engineering teams.
  • Verify calibration systems and inspection processes.
  • Support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support lower-level inspectors.
  • Maintain strict adherence to quality management systems and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification preferred.
  • Relevant experience for the level applied (see above).
  • Proficiency with inspection tools and measurement equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
