  • Ability to debug and analyze systems at a low level

Desired Skills
  • Experience with vulnerability research or identifying security weaknesses in firmware or embedded systems
  • Hands-on experience analyzing or developing firmware
  • Familiarity with reverse engineering tools such as Ghidra, IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, or similar
  • Experience with embedded debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, UART, logic analyzers)
  • Understanding of common firmware formats, bootloaders, and device communication protocols
  • Exposure to secure coding practices and exploit mitigation techniques

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with embedded devices, IoT systems, or custom hardware platforms
  • Familiarity with assembly languages and low-level debugging
  • Background in cybersecurity, embedded security, or hardware security
  • Experience integrating firmware with hardware components in production or lab environments
