Sales Development Representative - Part Time

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Development Representative to join our team and drive the growth of our business. This position involves prospecting, qualifying, and generating opportunities by connecting with Senior Executives and Marketing Managers at marketing agencies across the United States.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • High Volume Prospecting: Conduct 80-100 activities per day, including calls, emails, and social media outreach, to qualify leads from Gannett's Lead Database.
  • Inbound Call Management: Field inbound calls and convert them into prospects.
  • Scheduling Meetings: Arrange marketing assessments and discovery meetings for Account Executives to further evaluate a prospect's business and potential partnership with Gannett.
  • Needs Qualification: Conduct needs qualification calls with specific prospects as assigned.
  • Business Insight: Learn how various businesses operate, understand their daily challenges, and discover how technology can significantly improve their operations and employees' lives.
  • Personal Growth: Create opportunities for personal growth by mastering the fundamentals necessary to become a great salesperson, leader, and executive.
  • Cybersecurity Participation: Join the company's cybersecurity incident response team to ensure timely and compliant handling of security incidents involving personal data.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: High School diploma required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in sales support, customer service, or a related field.
