About your Team:
Interactive Brokers ("IBKR") is seeking an entry-level Clearing Associate to join our Clearing Department. The Clearing Department is responsible for a variety of critical post-trade functions for global equities, derivatives, commodities, fixed-income, forex and other investment securities. These functions include electronic trade and position reconciliation, prime brokerage operations, inventory management, settlement operations and client account transfers. Given IBKR's global footprint, breadth of product offering, and passion for technology and automation; the Clearing Department presents a unique opportunity to learn many facets the brokerage business and offers the candidate exciting potential for growth.
What will be your responsibilities within IBKR:
  • IBKR has developed state-of-the-art proprietary clearing and back-office systems.
  • In this role, you will operate these ever-evolving systems to solve interesting and unique problems in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
  • The ideal candidate will also be challenged to contribute to the development of these systems to achieve higher degrees of operational efficiency, risk mitigation, and/or to support new business or investment products.

What required skill's you need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Mathematics preferred.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the drive to efficiently maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills and competency with MS Office products preferred
