Job description

Who We Are
Investortools has been a leader in fixed-income technology for over four decades, supporting institutional investors with portfolio management and credit analysis software systems. Our platform is trusted by hundreds of financial institutions, including SMA managers, fund managers, broker-dealers, and other market participants, to manage over $1 trillion in assets. We're committed to creative problem-solving, excellent service, and a collaborative culture rooted in strong values, offering you the opportunity to grow your skills and shape your career.
What You'll Do
As a Client Services Associate, you'll immerse yourself in the world of fixed-income investing and develop a deep understanding of how our clients operate. You'll study their business models, workflows, and strategic objectives so you can become a trusted partner who anticipates needs rather than simply reacts to them. As you master our suite of highly specialized software tools, you'll help clients integrate them into their daily processes, coordinate with their technology and infrastructure teams, and deliver tailored training that empowers users to work more efficiently and confidently. Every interaction will be an opportunity to demonstrate exceptional service, build loyalty, and strengthen long-term relationships.
You'll take ownership of complex client challenges, working collaboratively with internal teams to clarify ambiguous issues, uncover root causes, and deliver thoughtful, targeted solutions. Your ability to problem-solve with empathy and precision will make you an internal advocate for your clients and a key contributor to team and departmental goals. Along the way, you'll develop strong cross-functional partnerships, navigate complex technical and operational environments, and occasionally travel to major financial centers across the U.S. to deepen relationships and deliver high-impact support.
Responsibilities
  • Learn about and master the world of fixed income investments.
  • Study Investortools' clients to understand their unique business operations and operating models in order to become a valuable partner to them.
  • Engage with clients in a way that inspires trust and the opportunity to build a deep relationship, by being timely and efficient in resolving client needs.
  • Recognize and assess underlying client needs, providing targeted solutions that address core problems.
  • Possess a strong passion for problem solving and client service, connecting with our clients through all channels of communication.
  • Coordinate with our client's technology and infrastructure teams for product deployment, including integrating our software into client's other systems and business processes.
  • Provide tailored training to our client users on how to integrate our software products into their daily workflow.
  • Display ownership to resolve complex client issues and act as an internal champion for your client.
  • Navigate sometimes ambiguous client issues by working collaboratively with the client and internal partners to clarify problems and develop efficient solutions.
  • Build collaborative relationships with team members to contribute towards attaining individual, team, and department objectives.
  • Occasional travel to financial centers throughout the United States.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Science, Business, Finance, Economics, Math, Engineering, or similar fields.
  • 4 - 7 years of professional experience in positions where analytical thinking, client interaction, and technical problem-solving are core parts of the role.
  • Desire to learn and support a robust software suite.
  • Eagerness to study and master the complex municipal and corporate bond market.
  • Strong demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage projects, and meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality results.
  • Able to work collaboratively across disciplines with excellent communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Why Investortools?
At Investortools, you will have the opportunity to partner with some of the largest and most respected financial firms in the world. You will work primarily with professionals in investment management, such as portfolio managers, credit analysts, and traders, to deliver solutions that have an impact.
We are a family-owned company built on Christian principles that takes a long-term perspective in service to our clients. We value a healthy work life balance and foster a culture of mutual respect, high ethical standards, and true collaboration.
What we offer
  • Competitive Compensation: Estimated starting salary range for this exempt position is $70k - $90k annually based on experience and knowledge shown in the interview process.
  • Generous Time Off: 17 days of PTO per year, plus 10 paid holidays.
  • Comprehensive Health Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision insurance with multiple deductible options and employer contributions.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA): Company-funded HSA plans, based on coverage level and IRS contribution limits.
  • Financial Security: Company-paid life insurance and both short- and long-term disability insurance.
  • Optional Coverage: Voluntary accident and critical illness insurance available.
  • Supportive Programs: Employee Assistance Program and wellness initiatives to support your well-being.
  • Retirement Savings: 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • Perks: Enjoy daily lunch provided on-site.

At Investortools, your contributions truly matter. The work is challenging, engaging, and meaningful. Apply now and let's talk about what we can accomplish together.
