Position –Robotic Welder

Job Location –Oshkosh, WI

Starting Date –Immediate

Employment Term – Temp to Hire

Employment Type –Full-Time

Work Hours (Shift) –1st, 2nd & Weekend shifts are available!

Starting Pay –Dependent on experience, Range is $20 to 25

Benefits – Medical, Dental, 401K, PTO

Required Education –High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience –At least 2 years of experience

As a Robotic welder, you will be responsible for interpreting specifications for each job, completing a quality weld, and inspecting the finished product.

Responsibilities

  • Robot Programming and Setup:

    • Develop, modify, and optimizewelding programs(e.g., teaching points, adjusting parameters) for various parts and materials.

    • Performtooling and fixture setupto ensure accurate and repeatable part placement for the robot.

    • Conductinitial trial runsand make adjustments to achieve quality specifications and cycle time goals.

  • Operation and Maintenance:

    • Operate and monitor robotic welding cells, ensuring consistent output and quality.

    • Perform routine and preventativemaintenanceon robotic systems and welding equipment (torches, wire feeders, etc.).

    • Troubleshoot and resolveminor mechanical or programming issuesto minimize downtime.

  • Quality and Safety:

    • Performquality checks(visual inspection, measurement) on finished welds to ensure they meet engineering drawings and standards.

    • Maintain aclean and safework area, adhering to all company safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Proven experienceoperating and programming industrial robotic welding systems (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA).

  • Strong background inMIG and/or TIG weldingprocesses and metallurgy.

  • Ability to read and interpretblueprints, welding symbols, and schematics.

  • Familiarity with variouswelding gaugesand quality control procedures.

  • Technical aptitudeand problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex automation issues.

  • Welding certification and/or technical degree is a plus.

It was a tradition that names derived in such a way would bring success to that person or business. So, from Carol’s home, SEEK assignment employees were sent to serve the temporary needs of Ozaukee County business people. The business grew and was eventually incorporated in 1975. The Grafton office expanded from Carol’s home to several other buildings in town before finally settling in their current location on Opportunity Drive in Grafton in 1997. Currently, there are 19 total branch offices with 16 located throughout Wisconsin and a recent acquisition has expanded SEEK’s portfolio to 3 branch offices in the Twin Cities.
