Job Summary:
Betenbough Companies is a homebuilding company seeking a Software Engineer to design and build technology that connects teams and streamlines processes. The role involves creating tools that improve accuracy and simplify workflows, ultimately enhancing the experience for homebuyers and internal teams.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Build, test, and deploy software that improves how our teams operate day to day
โ€ข Write clean, well-designed, and testable code in a collaborative, continuously integrated environment
โ€ข Follow coding standards, testing practices, and quality assurance processes
โ€ข Collaborate with teams across departments to solve problems and optimize workflows
โ€ข Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions clearly and respectfully
โ€ข Create documentation and training that helps others confidently use what you build
โ€ข Learn the homebuilding business and the systems that support it
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข Must be eligible to work in the United States
โ€ข Betenbough is not sponsoring work visas or transfers for this role; Permanent Resident Card or U.S. Citizenship is required
โ€ข Bachelorโ€™s degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT-related field, or equivalent experience
