POSITION: Software Developer

LOCATION: 6555 State Highway 161, Irving, TX 75039

JOB DUTIES: Collaborate with Business Units to set specifications for new applications. Write high quality source code to program complete applications within deadlines. Develop automated test scripts to perform integration testing. Perform unit and integration testing before launch. Conduct functional and nonfunctional testing. Troubleshoot and debug applications. Evaluate existing applications to reprogram, update and add new features. Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code. 100% telecommuting allowed from any location in the U.S. 10% domestic travel required.

REQUIREMENTS: Master's Degree in Computer Science or related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

Applicant must have 2 years demonstrated experience in each of the following:

  • Experience in application/web developer, microservices architecture, and using cloud-based services;

  • Experience in designing and building applications;

  • Experience working with Java 8;

  • Experience in developing apps using Spring Framework;

  • Experience with front-end frameworks including Angular or React, and Material;

  • Experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases;

  • Experience with working in Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS);

  • Experience with programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools such as Visual Studio, VSCode, and other industry standard integrated development environments;

  • Experience with Agile Methodology and Scaled Agile Framework for enterprise (SAFe);

  • Experience with reporting tools including Snowflake, Azure Cloud ecosystem, Tableau, or IBM Cognos 11;

  • Experience with Shell Scripting or Python.
