Job Summary
We are seeking a Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will accurately transfer information into our database system. Your responsibilities may include verifying data, updating existing information, entering new information, creating spreadsheets, and other administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is a fast and accurate typist with attention to detail and excellent computer skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Accurately enter, maintain, and update data in company databases and systems.
  • Prepare, sort, and transfer data from hard copies into digital records.
  • Review data for accuracy and completeness, resolving errors or discrepancies.
  • Maintain logs and spreadsheets for tracking purposes.
  • Operate standard office equipment (scanner, printer, copier).
  • Follow company policies on data security and confidentiality.
  • Communicate issues or irregularities to supervisors promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support team efforts and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Be flexible with shifts and scheduling based on business needs.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Data Entry Clerk or in a similar position is preferred
  • Typing speed of 45 words per minute with a high level of accuracy
  • Familiarity with standard office equipment such as fax machines and printers
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday from 10am - 6pm, and Saturday from 8am - 4pm. Regular days off are Friday and Sunday.
