We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Alternative Solutions Counseling Center. In this full-time remote position, you will play an essential role in delivering effective therapeutic services to a diverse clientele. As a licensed mental health therapist working remotely, you will engage with clients through secure telehealth platforms. • Conduct thorough assessments to identify clients' mental health needs, formulate accurate clinical diagnoses, and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions, using evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention support, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning for clients in acute distress.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care solutions tailored to clients’ diverse needs.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and effective treatment options, serving as an advocate for their needs within the healthcare system.
• Participate in regular professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions, to remain updated on best practices and advancements in mental health therapy.

You will be working with a variety of clients, including those from different cultural, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds. Our patient population encompasses individuals facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. • Licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) in the state of California.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment and diagnosis.
• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in providing mental health therapy.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills crucial for building a therapeutic alliance with clients.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• A strong commitment to ethical practice and professional standards in mental health service delivery.

• Previous experience in a clinical setting is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online therapy modalities is a plus.
• Experience working with diverse populations or specialty areas such as addiction, PTSD, or youth counseling.
