Position description
The University Writing Program at the University of California, Riverside invites applications for full time and part time Lecturer positions during the 2026-2027 academic year. Teaching assignments are in English Composition and/or Entry-Level Writing classes, including Multilingual Learner(s) (ML).
The number of positions varies from quarter to quarter and may be renewed based on the instructional needs of the Program and available funding.
Anticipated start dates:
Fall Quarter 2026: September 23, 2026
Salary:

Basic Qualifications:
An M.A. and two years of teaching experience at the college level are required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Multilingual Learner(s) (ML) certification and/or significant experience teaching second-language students will be relevant considerations in our search.
