Junior WordPress Developer (Elementor)

Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid – In-Office M/W/F, Remote Tues/Thurs)
Reports To: Director of Design & Development
Team: Web Development / Delivery

The Opportunity

Intellibright is looking for an entry-level Junior WordPress Developer with hands-on Elementor experience to support the build, optimization, and maintenance of marketing websites and landing pages for our clients.

This role is ideal for someone early in their career who can build clean, responsive pages in WordPress using Elementor, follows direction well, and wants to level up quickly in an agency environment. You’ll work alongside designers, strategists, SEO, and paid media teams to ship conversion-focused experiences that are fast, accurate, and reliable.

This is a full-time role with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office collaboration 3 days per week.

This is a contract-to-hire role working 30–40 hours per week with a hybrid schedule requiring in-office collaboration 3 days per week.

About Intellibright

Intellibright is a performance-driven digital marketing agency built around accountability and close client partnerships. We believe that if something does not tie back to revenue, it does not matter.

Our proprietary revenue analytics connect marketing activity to pipeline, sales, and revenue across channels.

Recognized by Inc. 5000 and the Financial Times 500 as one of the fastest growing companies in the Americas five years running, Intellibright is a high performance agency headquartered in Austin, Texas.

What You Will Own
  • Build and update WordPress pages primarily using Elementor (templates, sections, responsive controls, basic Theme Builder usage).
  • Implement design comps into clean, responsive pages with strong attention to spacing, typography, and consistency.
  • Maintain website content and page layouts across multiple client sites (new pages, edits, replacements, layout updates).
  • Follow established build standards (naming, structure, reusable sections, global styles when available).
  • Assist with WordPress foundation tasks: plugin updates (with guidance), user roles, basic site settings, backups, and site hygiene.
  • Help troubleshoot common Elementor/WordPress issues (responsiveness bugs, spacing inconsistencies, basic plugin conflicts).
  • Support performance best practices (image compression, basic caching awareness, avoiding unnecessary Elementor bloat).
  • Implement common marketing integrations (forms, embedded tracking snippets, analytics/tag manager placement with guidance).
  • Support QA and staging-to-production releases (checklists, testing across devices/browsers, fix rounds).
What Success Looks Like
  • Pages are built accurately and consistently across desktop/tablet/mobile.
  • Elementor work is clean and maintainable (reusable sections, consistent spacing/typography, minimal hacky overrides).
  • You can take a scoped task and deliver it with minimal rework: build → QA → revisions → publish.
  • Common issues are debugged quickly and communicated clearly (what happened, what changed, what’s needed).
  • The team can rely on you for steady execution across multiple websites and requests.
Why This Role Matters

At Intellibright, a strong strategy only creates value if it is executed well.

This role helps ensure our websites—often the center of a client’s acquisition and conversion funnel—are built with speed, accuracy, and performance in mind. The Junior WordPress Developer supports reliable delivery by turning designs and marketing direction into real, measurable web experiences.
