Job description

Technician, Repair- Cleaner

The purpose of this job is to serve as a detailer and to clean rental instruments and prepare them to return to stock in the refurbishment process for woodwind and percussion instruments.

Duty or Responsibility:

  • Responsible for detailing and cleaning quality instruments in a timely matter based on established production standards.
  • Responsible for turning in accurate production reports on a daily basis
  • Responsible for reporting QC rejects on a daily basis
  • Responsible for performing general warehousing and distribution tasks as needed when not in operating in a detailer capacity.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Apprenticeship or a diploma for an accredited repair school is required
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
  • Entry level; zero years of relevant work experience required
  • Novice proficiency with mechanical tools used for instrument cleaning and repair
  • Novice proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
