Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health concerns to formulate clinical diagnoses and create individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others tailored to meet client needs.
• Provide urgent crisis intervention and support for clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies, helping them navigate distressing situations effectively.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation, including treatment plans, progress notes, and assessment results, in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
• Educate clients and their family members regarding mental health conditions and available treatment options, supporting them in understanding their journeys.
• Participate in regular supervision and professional development workshops to stay informed about the latest advancements in mental health therapy and improve your clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Mental Health Counselor at Dignified Counseling Services, you will engage with a diverse range of clients including individuals, couples, families, and groups, who are facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflicts. You will leverage your expertise to support clients in identifying their challenges and developing strategies that cultivate resilience and personal growth, thereby contributing significantly to their overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state license as a Mental Health Therapist (e.g., LMFT, LPC, LCSW).
• Possess a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and diagnostic competencies.
• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues.
• Ability to thrive both independently and as a supportive team member.
• Commitment to uphold the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in mental health practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a clinical or telehealth setting is highly desirable but not mandatory for entry-level candidates.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
