We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at Pulse Wave Wellness & Counseling Center located in Stamford, Connecticut. The position is purely onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center, designed to facilitate comfortable and effective therapy sessions. • Conduct thorough assessments and consultations with patients to accurately understand their physical conditions and symptoms.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and develop comprehensive, customized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs.
• Instruct patients in therapeutic exercises, ensuring they acquire the proper techniques to maximize their recovery.
• Utilize hands-on therapies such as manual stimulation or massage to enhance healing processes and alleviate discomfort.
• Assist patients in safely using mobility equipment like wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices, promoting independence.
• Carefully document patient progress, maintaining meticulous records that track recovery goals and treatment efficacy.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families regarding in-home care strategies and continued therapeutic exercises.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Connecticut.
• Proficiency in both verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and colleagues.
• Experience in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) and documentation software.
• A flexible and agile mindset to adapt to diverse patient needs and treatment settings.

• At least one year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably within rehabilitation or outpatient environments.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities and techniques that promote optimal patient outcomes.
• Experience in mentoring or guiding new graduates is a plus, as we encourage knowledge sharing among our team members.
