Job description

Construction Inspector/Field Technician

This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals interested in working in an outdoor setting. It is also a unique opportunity for aspiring Engineers to obtain valuable field experience. On-the-job training will be provided. Construction experience is a plus, but not necessary.

Education requirements:

· High School diploma (or equivalent).

· Some College level course work is a plus.

Job responsibilities:

· Construction materials testing and verification for soil, concrete, rebar, and more.

· Prepare daily documentation with test results and observations.

· Regularly communicate with project managers and engineers regarding issues which arise onsite.

Working conditions:

· Daily travel is required. Projects are located throughout Philadelphia, Chester, Montgomery, Berks and Bucks counties.

· Must have reliable personal vehicle and clean driving record. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

· Must be willing/able to work outdoors in an active construction environment.

· Must be able to lift/carry 35-50 lb of equipment and test samples.
