Accoona Corp., the developer of an artificial intelligence-driven search engine that delivers results most relevant to the meaning of the key words entered and the user's intent is actively seeking an experienced Web Developer in the design, development and implementation of a new internet application.
Technical Skills and Experience
• Strong HTML (No WYSIWYG)
• Strong JavaScript
• Strong JSP
• Proven track record in cross platform cross browser development
• Firm grasp of web standards (CSS 2, HTML 4)
• Experience working with large scale mission critical ecommerce applications
Not required but helpful technical skills & experience:
• Experience with AJAX
• Experience with graphic design
• Experience with WebSphere application server
• Proficient in multi-tier development
• Experience with session management
• Experience with Oracle, SQL coding and strong understanding of database transactions
• Experience in setting up a new development/production environment is a plus
Professional Skills:
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A strong team contributor able to help devise solutions and produce quality software with others
• Willing to work in a fast paced, start-up environment with minimal infrastructure and support
