Entry-Level Systems Engineer
Company:
The Boeing Company is looking for Entry-Level Systems Engineers to join our Saint Louis area team in either Berkeley, MO, Hazelwood, MO or Saint Charles, MO depending on position.

Our St. Louis-based teams support development, production, training, and sustainment for platforms such as Fighters/Tactical (F-47, F-15, F/A-18, F-22, T-7A), Autonomous Systems (MQ-25), Precision Engagement Systems (JDAM, SDB), and other cutting-edge programs including Phantom Works and rotary and fixed-wing platforms (AH-64, P-8, C-17).
As an Entry-Level Systems Engineer at Boeing, you'll be part of a dynamic team shaping the future of aerospace defense. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside experts in a collaborative environment, contributing to mission-critical systems that directly impact national security.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Support systems engineering activities across new development, production, and sustainment programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain system requirements, interfaces, verification, and test criteria
  • Perform analyses related to affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human factors, survivability, vulnerability, security, and product assurance
  • Assist in program design reviews and technical assessments
  • Track and update requirements, risks, issues, opportunities, and technology readiness
  • Help implement modern systems engineering methods, including Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required
  • Special Program Access or other Government Access Requirements may be required for these positions

Travel may be required; Domestically and/or Internationally depending on business needs.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
  • Related engineering experience through internships, co-ops, or academic projects

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Active U.S. Security Clearance (preferred but not required)
  • Experience or interest in aircraft, training systems, simulation systems, mission systems, or weapon system development
  • Familiarity with systems engineering concepts such as system design, requirements development, verification, and validation
  • Exposure to verification and certification processes, especially for military safety-critical or mission-critical systems
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams and supporting technical program reviews
  • Knowledge of MBSE tools like Cameo, MSOSA, or other SysML-compatible modeling tools
  • Technical skills with tools and languages such as DOORS, Cadece/Pspice, Python, C#, C++, JavaScript, Visual Studio, Subversion, Azure DevOps, Git, CAFTA, ReliaSoft, JIRA or FaultTree+
