Job description

Vice President, AFS Originator & Structuring

Conduct origination and execution efforts across private securitizations and Term ABS (Asset Backed Securities) transactions with Automotive, Unsecured Consumer Loan, Credit Card, Equipment, Device Payment Plans, and Solar consumer and commercial ABS asset classes.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics, or a related field; and 3 years of experience as a VP (ABS Originations) or related occupation working in ABS originations (Banking) across both US and European jurisdictions within an international bank or international financial services organization.
  • Master’s degree (US or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Physics, Finance, Economics, or a related field; and 1 year of experience as a VP (ABS Originations) or related occupation working in ABS originations (Banking) across both US and European jurisdictions within an international bank or international financial services organization.
  • Demonstrated expertise in securitization across both the U.S. and Europe for Asset-Backed Securities (ABS) consumer and commercial issuers.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications (incl. Excel), Bloomberg, and Intex to facilitate initiation, structuring, and implementation of private ABS warehouse and term ABS transactions.
  • Experience working with Automotive, Unsecured Consumer Loan, Credit Card, Equipment, Device Payment Plans, and Solar consumer and commercial ABS asset classes.
  • Use of Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) technology and Credit Risk Transfer technology across multiple regulatory regimes.
Additional Requirements
  • Domestic and international travel required (10%, often on short notice).
  • Remote work available up to one day per week.

Salary: $225,000 – $250,000 per year.
