About the Position
Harris Health System is actively seeking a full-time Interventional Radiologic Technologist II to join the Radiology Special Procedures team at Lyndon B. Johnson Hospital. In this role, you will deliver patient-centered care and apply advanced technical skills in the operation of Interventional Radiology (IR) equipment for both diagnostic and therapeutic purposes.
This position also provides an opportunity to act as a resource and mentor to entry-level IR Technologists and students. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to high-quality patient care and the overall success of the radiology department.About Harris Health System

Requirements
  • Education & Licensure:
    • Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program in Radiologic Technology
    • Valid MRT license from the Texas Medical Board (TMB)
    • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology
    • Certification in Vascular-Interventional Radiography (ARRT-VI) preferred
    • Current CPR certification from AHA or ARC
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a staff Interventional Radiology Technologist
  • Skills & Equipment Knowledge:
    • Proficient in use of IR equipment, PACS, RIS, and related clinical tools
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Familiar with medical terminology, computer systems, and clinical documentation tools
  • Work Schedule:
    • Flexible shifts, with availability for weekends, holidays, and on-call rotation as needed
