Radiologist Opportunity in San Antonio, Texas Location:San Antonio, TX Position Details:Employment Type: Full-TimePosition Type: PermanentPractice Type: Diagnostic RadiologyExperience: 5 years+Supervisory Responsibilities: Oversee radiology staff, maintain clinical competencies, and ensure adherence to quality standards Job Description:Seeking a Board-Certified Radiologist to join a dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas. The Radiologist will diagnose and interpret imaging studies while collaborating with medical professionals to provide high-quality patient care. Responsibilities:Obtain patient histories from electronic records, interviews, and communication with referring cliniciansPrepare comprehensive interpretive reports of diagnostic imaging findingsPerform and interpret diagnostic imaging procedures, including MRI, CT, ultrasound, and PET scansCommunicate examination results and diagnostic information to referring physicians, patients, and familiesEvaluate medical information to determine risk factors and appropriateness of proceduresProvide patient counseling regarding imaging procedures, risks, benefits, and alternative treatmentsCoordinate radiological services with other medical activitiesEnsure compliance with quality control standards and safety protocols for radiation and infection controlServe as a teleradiologist for satellite facilities without on-site radiologistsAct as Radiology Medical Director for site accreditations (ACR and IAC)Participate in continuing education, quality improvement initiatives, and professional development activitiesQualifications: Completion of medical school, medical internship, and radiology residency at an accredited institution Minimum of five years of experience as a Radiologist in a clinical setting Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) and radiology imaging software Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients and medical professionals Compensation & Benefits:Competitive salary with productivity incentivesComprehensive health, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan optionsContinuing Medical Education (CME) allowanceMalpractice insurance coverageRelocation assistance, if applicableAbout the Area:San Antonio, Texas, is a thriving metropolitan city with a rich cultural heritage, excellent dining and entertainment options, and affordable living.
