Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM    

   

HOSPICE OF THE MIDWEST is seeking a compassionate and creative Music Therapist in Woodbury, MN. Our Music Therapists are a key part of our interdisciplinary team, providing comfort, connection and dignity to patients through the healing power of music. As a Music Therapist You will:   

  • Assess patients’ functional status, musical responses, and preferences
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to help patients meet goals
  • Deliver music therapy using instruments, singing, movement, and listening

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in music therapy from an AMTA-approved program
  • Board-certified (MT-BC) by CBMT
  • Preferred: 2 years clinical music therapy experience
  • Valid driver’s license with insured, reliable vehicle
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and organizational skills
  • Understanding of hospice philosophy and end-of-life issues
