SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for providing lactation management services to expectant and new parents that encompass mother/infant assessment for breastfeeding, perinatal and postpartum education, consultations and continuing support for breastfeeding families.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Two (2) years nursing experience
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
