Description
As a Graphic Designer/Content Creator, you will be responsible for creating visually compelling and brand-consistent marketing materials across digital, print, and social platforms, as well as original content captured directly in our retail locations. Your designs and content will drive engagement, promote events, and elevate the overall brand experience including direct interaction with guests and consumers as part of the content creation process. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, you'll bring creative ideas to life while managing multiple projects and adhering to deadlines. Essential Job Functions:
  1. Design visually compelling graphics for a variety of internal and external marketing materials, including digital ads, print advertising, social media posts, email campaigns, and website assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  2. Lead the creation and distribution of promotional signage across all locations. Coordinate seasonal poster changes in spring and fall.
  3. Assist with the launch of new Aveda campaigns by managing schematics, setting up display areas (launch pads, posters, merchandising), and overseeing product-focused displays.
  4. Maintain and develop brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all communication platforms, including both internal and external marketing materials for Neroli, IBW, Skn Bar Rx, EBG Pro and Aveda.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize and execute creative strategies that align with brand objectives.
  6. Prepare and manage collateral for in-house programs, promotions, and special events, ensuring the content aligns with the brand's image.
  7. Proofread and ensure accuracy in advertising and marketing copy.
  8. Maintain current images and content on the website, ensuring it remains vibrant and up-to-date.
  9. Create and manage content for social media channels, keeping track of local and national competition to stay competitive.
  10. Lead marketing efforts for special events, from promotion to setup, coordination, and attendance. Capture event photography for marketing, website updates, and internal use.
  11. Spend time on-site at retail locations creating original photo and video content, including direct engagement with guests and consumers to capture authentic, real-time brand moments.
  12. Organize focus groups and market research to gather insights from guests, students, and staff, and incorporate findings into creative strategies.
  13. Participate in the annual strategic planning process and attend company meetings to communicate marketing and business initiatives.
  14. Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  15. Maintain and organize collateral inventory, ensuring materials are always up-to-date and available for use.
  16. Provide creative input during brainstorming sessions for new marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  17. Stay current on industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to ensure the company's marketing materials remain fresh and innovative.
  18. Other duties as assigned.

Required Technical Skills, Education, Experience, Training and/or Credentials:
To perform this job, team member must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
  1. Bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of practical experience.
  2. Hubspot and web design experience.
  3. Well-developed planning and organizational skills.
