Description
Responsible for writing, editing, and optimizing articles, blog posts, and other marketing materials for the Mazzella website - with a strong emphasis on growing and enhancing the overall digital presence and branding. Also responsible for increasing brand awareness through the creation of direct and indirect sales tools and miscellaneous marketing materials. Ability to understand and promote a line of specialized machinery, services, or industrial product solutions. Drive and develop targeted content on the Mazzella website that is both engaging and educational. Responsible for developing corporate communications (both internal and external) and all collateral (data sheets, e-books, brochures, white papers, case studies), as well as supporting the development of video, social media, and website content.
To be considered for this position, please submit 2-3 samples of your writing work that demonstrate your content creation abilities. Samples may include blog articles, website copy, marketing materials, social media content, email campaigns, or other relevant writing projects. Portfolio links are also accepted.
Requirements
  • Write, edit, optimize, and proofread content-developed independently through research or other internal and external channels.
  • Develop content campaigns and social media posts based upon interviews with subject matter experts within the organization or within the industry.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects with a sense of urgency. Must have the ability to effectively navigate within a complex organization and complex product line to meet deliverable deadlines.
  • Identify, develop, and execute sales and marketing initiatives, including product launches, sales collateral, promotions, website updates, and public relations. Support internal communications through the creation of email announcements and write-ups for internal company newsletter.
  • Collaborate with product, sales, and service teams to support the development of business unit marketing plans and sales campaigns. This includes the development of buyer personas, segment playbooks, case studies, and white papers.
  • Utilize a variety of tools to analyze the performance of existing content and campaigns. Generate metrics and reports for marketing and sales management.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize or enhance existing content based on current marketing trends and/or competitors.
  • Manage the overall social media publishing strategy and develop content that drives prospect engagement.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends to maintain and maximize SEO and AEO results. Optimize all digital content for Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) to increase brand visibility in generative AI search.
  • Manage the creation and updates of industrial segment and branch landing pages - this includes maintaining accurate Google Business listings for each branch location to ensure local search visibility.
  • Manage new additions and content updates to company intranet to ensure internal information remains current and accessible to all team members.
  • Other duties as assigned.
