Job description

Distribution Center Operator - Shift B (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, E/O Sunday 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Location - Onsite Thisis an onsite role that works at Distribution Center in Cashton, WI. Shift hours/schedule are 6am-6pm Monday-Wednesday 10am-6pm every other Sunday.
Employee Type - Hourly
Bonus - This position is eligible for a 3% annual incentive bonus based on cooperative and individual performance.

Summary of RoleThe Distribution Center Operator will operate material handling equipment while assembling orders to customer specifications. Loads and unloads trucks for the purpose of shipping and receiving goods. Responsible for entering information in Warehouse Management System (WMS) interface relative to product, shipment, and load status. This is a safety sensitive position. The Distribution Center is open 365 days a year including holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
o Prepares orders by processing requests, follows directive work through the WMS, and fill/assemble order for outgoing shipments.
o Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment by keeping the pick lanes, pallet area, dock floor, and shipping/receiving office free of debris and/or clutter.
o Contributes to team effort by assisting in daily tasks to plan, coordinate, manage time, conduct inventory, record data, and maintain equipment.
o Load and unload trucks, receiving materials and products, picking, packing, wrapping, labeling, and/or shipping products.
o Maintain shipping and receiving paperwork to ensure incoming and outgoing products and materials are in good condition.
o Assist in controlling costs by assuring products are stored safely, counted, and delivered by the DC standards.
o Assist in preparing for company audits and follow Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure standards and guidelines are met.
Additional Duties and Responsibilities
o Perform daily material handling equipment inspections, documenting any deficiencies, and inform maintenance team of any issues/concerns.
o Place damaged and leaking product in the appropriate area.
o Select samples for Quality Assurance as directed.
o Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
o High school diploma or GED is required
o Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds regularly, occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance, ability to push/pull objects up to 2,500 pounds using material handling equipment.
o Must be able to perform physical work in a variety of positions and at various heights includes bending, stooping, reaching and twisting of arms and body movement as well as walking and standing for extended periods of time.
o Tolerate a variety of temperatures conditions.
o Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions; work effectively and maintain deadlines.
o Must be able multitask, accurately enter data and be detail orientated
o Able to work holidays, nights, weekend, as assigned or requested
o Basic math skills including arithmetic; and Basic computer skills preferred
o Strong work ethic with history of good attendance.
o Maintain forklift operator certificate and material handling equipment.
o Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices
o Capacity for stress in service-oriented environment.
o Able to work independently, while in a team environment
Base hourly wage range: $19.43 per hour - $23.55 per hour
The typical hourly wage for a new hire with little or no experience is $20.00. This position also receives a $2.00 per hour shift premium between the hours of 6pm and 12am, a $3.00 per hour shift premium between the hours of 12am and 6am and this position receives a $2.00 per hour shift premium on Saturdays and Sundays. This hourly wage rangeis exclusive of fringe benefits. The compensation package may also includeincentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary bonuses. Ifyou are hired at CROPP, your final base hourly wage compensation will be determinedbased on factors such as skills, education, and/orexperience. Additionally, we believe in the importance of pay equity andconsider the internal equity of our current team members as a part of any finaloffer. Please keep in mind that entry-level candidates to this role shouldexpect to be at the lower end of the hourly wage range and hiring at the maximum of the hourly wage rangeis not typical.
