Job Details:

SUMMARY: Directly supervises Warehouse Department employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include:

  • Training employees.
  • Planning assigning and directing work.
  • Scheduling and managing overtime appraising performance.
  • Disciplining employees.
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Keep all aspects of inventory accurate; whether receiving off the floor or receiving from outside vendors.
  • Manage housekeeping in dock area.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Other duties include ensuring that all product quality and safety processes are being followed consistently promoting a safe work environment and performing other responsibilities as needed. Following all safety and policy procedures as set forth by Tyson Foods.

D Shift: (6:00PM - 6:00AM) - 4-3 Schedule; Days rotate every 2 months.

REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent or 3 years of work experience.

Experience: Experience is not required but is preferred.

Computer Skills: Basic computer skills are preferred but not required. Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Travel: Some travel may be required to attend training classes.

Special Skills: Motivated self-starter who has the desire to learn and the ability to lead others.
