Job description

Dermatology office seeking a full-time (4-5 days a week) front office receptionist to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is someone who is friendly, honest, dependable and professional. Must be a fast learner, organized, able to multi-task, able to work quickly and efficiently during a busy clinic, and able to work well with other team members.

Front office duties include but are not limited to:

  • 1+ year of medical front office experience A MUST.THIS IS NO ENTRY LEVEL JOB.
  • THIS IS NOT A TRAINING POSITION.
  • Greeting patients in a courteous and professional manner
  • Answering and routing telephone calls
  • General office duties including copying and faxing
  • Serving as a point of contact for patients, referring physicians, and pharmaceutical reps
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Checking patients in and out
  • Obtaining and entering information needed to register patients
  • Collecting copays, deductibles and balances
  • Posting payments
  • End of day balancing and preparing deposit
  • Verifying insurance
  • Managing incoming and outgoing referrals
  • Maintaining patient waiting areas

Requirements:

  • High school diploma required
  • 1+ year of medical front office experience A MUST.THIS IS NO ENTRY LEVEL JOB.
