Job Summary

The Production Helper is an entry-level manufacturing position responsible for supporting daily production operations within a fast-paced food production environment. This role performs a variety of production-related functions, including machine operation, mixing, oven operation, pan setting, and tray handling. The Production Helper plays an important role in maintaining food safety, food quality, and operational efficiency while adhering to established procedures and production standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate and support production equipment, including mixers, ovens, and packaging machinery.
  • Perform duties such as Machine Operator, Mixer, Oven Operator, Pan Setter, Trayer, and other production support functions as assigned.
  • Follow all food safety, food quality, and sanitation procedures.
  • Monitor production processes and report any food safety or quality concerns immediately.
  • Adhere to procedures outlined in the Food Safety Plan, Food Quality Plan, and all supporting quality management programs.
  • Support compliance with SQF standards and other third-party audit requirements.
  • Load, stack, move, and transport pans, ingredient containers, and production materials.
  • Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Adapt to changing production schedules, priorities, and line assignments as needed.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and workplace conduct standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing production demands and assignments.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
  • Closed-toe work shoes required; composite-toe or steel-toe footwear preferred.
  • Food production, food service, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required.

Work Experience

  • Previous experience in food service, food production, manufacturing, warehouse operations, or a related environment preferred.
  • Entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
