Smith Personnel is taking applications for Production Associates in Arlington, TX 76011

Pay Rate: $22.00 per hour

This Production Associate role is an entry-level manufacturing position in a food production environment. Employees may rotate between several tasks, including:
  • Machine Operator
  • Mixer
  • Oven Operator
  • Pan Setter
  • Trayer
  • Other production or packaging positions as needed
Main Responsibilities
  • Follow all food safety and food quality procedures.
  • Load, unload, stack, and unstack pans and materials.
  • Load and unload ovens and proof boxes.
  • Fill in for other production positions when needed.
  • Perform additional duties assigned by supervisors.
  • Help maintain compliance with SQF and other food safety audit requirements.
Requirements
Preferred:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 0 to 1 year of manufacturing experience (food manufacturing is a plus).
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Stand and/or stoop for entire shifts.
  • Work around food production machinery.
  • Measure ingredients and follow written instructions.
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced production setting.
  • Hot and noisy environment.
  • Frequent schedule changes.
  • Rotating shifts may be required.
  • Weekends and holidays are often required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
