ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for a highly motivated Network Engineer to join the Anduril Industries Network Team with a focus on factory systems and operational technology (OT) infrastructure.
In this role, you will design, deploy, and maintain the network systems that support Anduril's manufacturing environments. You will work directly within production spaces and partner with Manufacturing Engineering, Facilities, Security, and IT teams to ensure that all factory networks are reliable, secure, and aligned with ISA-95 and Purdue Model standards.
This role is highly hands-on. You will regularly conduct site walks, site surveys, and hardware installation at Anduril facilities. You will also participate in inventory management, procurement planning, and coordination of hardware for factory deployments. The ideal candidate combines strong networking expertise with practical field experience in industrial, air gapped, or manufacturing environments.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
  • Perform detailed site walks and site surveys to assess network needs, validate capacity, and plan installations in manufacturing spaces
  • Design and implement secure, segmented network architectures for factory and OT systems based on ISA-95 and Purdue Model principles
  • Install, configure, and support routers, switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure, and industrial networking devices
  • Support manufacturing buildouts including new production lines, machine onboarding, and integration of control systems

  • Manage network equipment inventory across facilities including tracking, forecasting, and ordering hardware
  • Handle procurement activities for networking components and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
  • Maintain accurate documentation for network topology, cabling, VLAN and IP assignments, and inter-zone communication flows
  • Implement and manage network security controls including segmentation, ACLs, firewalls, and intrusion detection or prevention
  • Monitor network performance and perform proactive maintenance to ensure stability of production and automation systems
  • Provide on-call support and escalation assistance for production and OT network incidents
  • Travel to remote facilities for surveys, installations, and infrastructure upgrades
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5 to 7 years of Enterprise or OT network engineering experience with the ability to lead deployments with minimal guidance
  • Hands-on experience performing site surveys, field installations, and factory or industrial network buildouts
  • Familiarity with ISA-95 and Purdue Model segmentation for operational technology environments
  • Proficiency with Cisco, Arista, and Palo Alto platforms including Panorama and NGFW
  • Experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, wireless systems, and firewall policy management
  • Understanding of industrial protocols such as Modbus/TCP, Ethernet IP, and PROFINET with awareness of how to secure them
  • Experience with datacenter or private cloud networking such as EVPN VXLAN
  • Strong communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in production or construction environments as needed
  • Ability to travel to remote sites for installation and support
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with industrial networking platforms such as Rockwell Stratix, Hirschmann, or Moxa
  • Experience in environments that blend IT and OT security practices
  • Familiarity with Arista or Aruba hardware
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, or OCI
  • Experience with Python, Nornir, Jinja, Ansible, or Terraform for automation
