B&L specializes in transportation engineering, water supply, wastewater management, solid waste management, land planning and site design, environmental engineering, facilities engineering, land surveying, and asset management. We are currently seeking a full-time Entry-level Civil or Structural Bridge Engineer to join our Transportation practice in our Baltimore, MD office.
Duties primarily include engineering related to civil/site design with a preferred emphasis on bridge/culvert and highway systems. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Design support and delivery, preparation/review of plans and specifications involving most if not all the types of tasks listed below:
    • Providing conceptual input on the development of bridge/culvert systems.
    • Preparation of design plans, calculations, details and public bidding documents.
    • Providing quality control reviews of design.
    • Proficient in technical writing.
