Job description

The number one outlet center in the LA area is hiring qualified Customer Service Representatives to provide exceptional 5 Star Customer Service to ensure customers enjoy a great shopping experience. Maintain a high level of communication between customers, tenants and with all management and employees of the Center.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensures Customer Service area is open and closed timely (opening/closing time may vary).
  • Ensure cleanliness for the Customer Service area, including inventory and stock is accounted for and tracked.
  • Assist all customers and tenants via phone or in person with general information, store locations, directions, business hours, transportation info and Special Event info.
  • Serve as a representative of the California Welcome Center, providing visitors with travel and tourism information.
  • Assist the Marketing/PR department with traffic reports, special events, group sales, sponsorships, marketing initiative and promotion execution and ensures brochures/directories/promotional material is stocked at counter and throughout the center.
  • Maintain stroller/wheelchair rentals and ensure all are returned in good condition.
  • Process management and customer gift cards.
  • Collects customer complement and complaint forms and distributes to Customer Service Manager.
  • Assist the tourism department with greeting tour buses, special events, tour groups, and VIP Lounge coverage including maintaining stock and cleanliness.
  • Conduct regular property walkthroughs and promptly report any issues or maintenance needs, including but not limited to common areas, back of house, elevators and restrooms.
  • Monitor and assist vending machine operations, including reporting malfunction or low stock.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (G.E.D.).
  • 0 - 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area preferred.
  • Entry-level experience using MS Office applications (for data entry, reports).
  • Ability to conduct research using the various search engines on the Internet.
  • Entry-level experience using Social Media Networking applications.
