Job description

Kalogon, a smart seating startup based in Melbourne, FL, seeks a detail-oriented Entry- Level Quality Inspector  to ensure that each product meets the highest standard of comfort, durability and safety. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in quality control and medical product manufacturing, with hands-on training provided.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing dimensional, visual, electrical and mechanical inspection using standard documentation and procedures.
  • Using basic measurement tools and visual inspection to validate product quality.
  • Completing inspection checklists and using the company’s quality tracking system.
  • Identifying non-conforming products and assisting in isolating and documenting issues.
  • Supporting corrective and preventive action processes by providing feedback to supervisors and production.
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn inspection standards for medical-grade products.
  • Ability to work independently and follow written instructions and SOPs.
  • Basic computer literacy and ability to complete digital forms or reports.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a team-focused mindset.
Preferred but Not Required:
  • Prior experience in quality control, manufacturing, or textile/foam products.
