Description Do you have golf course maintenance experience and like working on a team. Join the Springfield-Greene County Park Board as a Golf Course Worker. Assist in the construction, maintenance and repair of Horton Smith Municipal Golf Courses including turf work, irrigation and entry-level equipment operation not requiring CDL licensure.

*Shifts will be discussed during the interview process. About Rivercut Golf Course: Rivercut Golf Course is a 18-hole championship course offering over 450,000 square feet of practice areas. The courses boast a driving range with both grass and turf hitting areas, 2 putting greens, and a fully stocked Pro Shop.

About the Department: The Springfield-Greene County Park strives to provide the very best in parks and recreation facilities, programs, events, and services to our community. In doing so, we will make a positive impact on the overall quality of life, health, environmental, social, and economic aspects for our resident families and visitors alike. The Park Board includes 3,200 acres and 103 sites, ranging from neighborhood playgrounds to multi-use recreational facilities to natural resource areas.

The system includes four golf courses, three family centers, a zoo, a farm park, botanical gardens, several sports and athletic complexes, two indoor aquatics centers, six outdoor swimming pools, multiple School-Park sites and more than 100 miles of recreational trails -- including 70 miles of Greenways. Qualifications and Requirements Experience, Education, and Training Requires at least one year of experience in golf course maintenance or turf maintenance. PREFERRED Experience in golf turf equipment maintenance. Licensing/Certification Must possess a valid Driver's License and required insurance.
