Job description

Position: Low Voltage Technician (Audit / Decommissioning Support)

Location: Denver, CO (No relocation)

Duration: 60-90 days (project-based)

Pay: $25–$35/hour

Overview:

Our client is a well-established infrastructure services provider supporting large-scale telecom and network projects nationwide. We are seeking 1–2 entry-level to mid-level low voltage technicians to support a telecom decommissioning project. This role is focused on auditing, labeling verification, cable tracing, and documentation across approximately 100 sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform site audits of existing telecom and low voltage infrastructure

• Verify and correct cable labeling and documentation

• Trace cables and identify active vs. inactive lines

• Accurately document findings and updates across multiple sites

• Assist with basic testing and validation as needed

• Support general cleanup efforts during decommissioning

Requirements:

• Basic experience in low voltage or structured cabling environments

• Ability to trace and label cables accurately

• Comfortable with documentation and audit-style work

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to work independently in the field

Nice to Have:

• Previous audit or QA/QC experience

• Exposure to telecom environments

• Basic testing tool experience
