A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RETAIL CUSTOMER SERVICE ASSOCIATE

You arrive for each shift excited to meet new people, promote and assist with products, services, and solutions associated with the Batteries Plus Bulbs operation. As a Retail Customer Service Associate, you love chatting with people and are able to make personal connections easily and ensure that every customer feels welcome and valued. You will have the chance to advance your sales techniques to up-sell products and to educate customers on batteries, lighting, and electronic devices.

You are excited about this fantastic opportunity to learn new technical skills! At times, you repair our customers' cell phones, tablets, and other devices. You also test, install, and replace batteries in vehicles, watches, key fobs, cell phones, and more. Don't worry if you don't have smartphone repair experience, we'll train you on everything you need to know to assist our clients with their technology troubles.

You take charge of challenging opportunities as they arise and provide excellent customer service. You are the key to helping customers find the correct solution to their battery, lighting, and cell phone problems. You feel a great sense of accomplishment in seeing your efforts pay off in your paycheck. You feel good about representing a company with a solid reputation and playing an important part in their success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others
  • Ability to work under time constraints in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
