Sales Analyst
LaSalle Network is hiring a Sales Analyst on behalf of a leading consumer goods organization seeking a data-driven professional to support major retail accounts and sales initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly analytical individual who enjoys transforming data into actionable insights, partnering with sales teams and influencing business decisions. The ideal Sales Analyst will bring strong sales analytics experience, advanced Excel skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly to support growth in a fast-paced retail environment.
What You'll Do
  • Analyze sales, POS and retail performance data to identify trends, opportunities and business insights.
  • Support sales teams with reporting, forecasting and strategic recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain sales analytics tools, dashboards and presentations to support customer conversations.
  • Translate complex data into clear recommendations for internal teams and external retail partners.
  • Partner with sales, marketing and cross-functional teams to support account strategies and business initiatives.
  • Analyze promotional performance and provide insights to improve future planning.
  • Utilize tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and syndicated data platforms to support decision-making.
  • Monitor account performance and identify opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Prepare customer-facing presentations and materials for meetings, reviews and business updates.
  • Support ongoing sales planning initiatives in a dynamic, evolving environment.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 2+ years of experience in sales analytics, sales planning or a related analytical role.
  • Experience supporting retail or consumer packaged goods (CPG) accounts preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and identify actionable insights.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Power BI, Circana, SAP, promotional analysis or syndicated data is a plus.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence non-technical stakeholders.
  • Curious, proactive and collaborative mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work onsite Tuesday-Thursday in Northbrook, IL.
