Location: Livonia, MI

Are you an Entry Level Mechanic looking for a dynamic company to join with an excellent opportunity for advancement? Due to our steady growth, we have immediate openings for Entry Level Mechanics. This position is located within our Contract Manufacturing Operation at our Livonia, MI facility. We provide assembly services to many of the leading-edge companies in the automotive industry. Products we produce for our customers consist of Off-Road tactical military vehicles, Self driving / Autonomous vehicles & Electric vehicles just to name a few. These low volume, highly technical projects make for a very exciting work environment where you learn cutting edge technology on a regular basis. Full-time employment opportunities may be available to the right candidates.

Qualifications

1 year of recent hands on assembly experience in an Automotive Manufacturing environment.

High school diploma or equivalent

Must be a US citizen

Must have basic understanding of automotive systems

Must be mechanically inclined

Must be able to use manual tools and power equipment safely

Must have strong mechanical aptitude and ability to problem solve

Must have good organizational skills

Must have good attention to detail

Must possess the skills to read, comprehend and execute written procedures

Must be a self-starter, self-motivated and willing to learn

Good oral and written communication skills

Must have excellent attendance and be willing to work overtime/weekends when needed

Preferred Skills

Previous automotive mechanic or co-op experience preferred

Automotive electrical systems experience a plus

Candidates are encouraged to have a basic set of mechanic tools
