Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of individual and business income tax returns, including direct interaction with client personnel
- Make adjusting entries and complete trial balances in support of tax return preparation
- Support the preparation of payroll returns and related forms
- Assist with general ledger work and financial statement preparation
- Contribute to special projects - including tax projections, consulting engagements, and tech-forward initiatives
- Work with the firm's technology stack, including AI-powered tools, to perform work efficiently and accurately
- Conduct research projects that sharpen technical thinking
- Participate in staff meetings to gain knowledge and share experiences
- Support administrative staff with tasks as needed by the firm
- Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (some coursework in accounting required)
- Communicates clearly with genuine motivation and curiosity
- Comfortable learning new technology - including AI tools - and applying it with confidence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
