Bluewater Linen is 9 years young and business is thriving, as people return to travel. We have the latest in automation and technology in the United States, and are looking for a customer-oriented Maintenance Technician I.
Why This Role Matters:
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician I to join our team at Bluewater Linen and support the daily care, maintenance, and safe operation of our facility. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to build foundational maintenance skills while contributing to a clean, functional, and safe work environment. As part of the Maintenance team, you will support preventative maintenance efforts, respond to service requests, and assist senior technicians-helping ensure uninterrupted operations and a well-maintained facility.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks on specialized equipment (training provided), including light plumbing, painting, simple electrical work, and general repairs.
  • Complete assigned work orders in a timely and professional manner.
  • Support preventative maintenance routines for entire plant operations and keep production staff equipment functioning.
  • Conduct routine property inspections to identify safety hazards or maintenance needs.
  • Assist with upkeep of equipment, tools, and mechanical spaces.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide excellent service when interacting with guests and team members.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of engineering workshop, storage, and work areas.
  • Follow all safety, sanitation, and environmental guidelines and reporting procedures.
  • Assist more senior engineering staff as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
