JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for an entry-level Integration Technician to help bring our automation systems to life. In this role, you will be working with others on our team to bring automation systems to life. You'll split your time between hands-on technical work, and collaborating directly with our customers and internal teams.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS


  • System Implementation: Bring industrial automation systems online using our in-house integration designs alongside vendor-supplied hardware and software.

  • Hands-On Troubleshooting: Actively diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair industrial system designs.

  • Blueprint Reading: Translate mechanical drawings, assemblies, and electrical schematics into fully functional physical builds.

  • Tool Operation: Utilize hand tools expertly for assembly and troubleshooting.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Education & Experience: A two-year technical degree (or current progression towards a technical degree) is preferred.

  • Willingness to Learn: Training in PLC and Robotics systems will be provided through hands-on work experience, collaboration with engineers and other technicians, as well as structured training classes with our primary vendors.

  • Technical Savvy: Strong math and problem-solving skills.

  • Natural Curiosity: A desire to know how things work and why.

PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  2. Travel: Occasional travel is required, which may include overnight stays or heading out with less than 24 hours' notice depending on project needs.

  3. On Your Feet: Expect to sit, stand, and walk on level plant surfaces for varying periods throughout your day.

  4. Heavy Lifting: You should be comfortable lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs, as well as climbing ladders and stairs to reach and diagnose equipment.

  5. Hours: Plant site work might occasionally require more than a standard 40-hour week to fully support our project efforts.

  6. Safety First: When working in manufacturing environments, you will be required to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and safety shoes.
