The Operating Systems Engineer ย is an entry-level engineering professional responsible for supporting the design, development, testing, and improvement of products and systems. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and engineering management, this position applies engineering principles to solve technical challenges, prepare engineering documentation, perform calculations, and support manufacturing and field operations. The Engineer I gains exposure to product development processes while developing technical expertise and industry knowledge.

- University degree in Engineering or equivalent. (Civil or Mechanical Engineering degree preferred. 0-2 years
experience in contract drilling)

Technical Competencies
Basic understanding of machine design and mechanical engineering principles.

Familiarity with FEA concepts and engineering testing methodologies.
Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems is a plus.

Prepare failure reports and analyze information to include root cause.ย

Participate in the documentation and presentation of project plans, progress, and results.
Conduct experiments and gather data to evaluate the performance of different engineering systems.
