We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Entry-Level Operations Assistant to support backend logistics and transportation operations. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in supply chain operations, data management, and process support while working closely with internal teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency across daily workflows.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support backend operational processes by entering, reviewing, and maintaining shipment, carrier, and customer data within internal systems
  • Prepare, organize, and manage operational documentation including bills of lading, rate confirmations, invoices, and compliance records
  • Assist operations and account teams with administrative tasks related to freight movement and service execution
  • Monitor data accuracy across multiple platforms and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Generate basic reports and summaries to support operational tracking and performance analysis
  • Communicate with internal departments to ensure documentation and data align with operational requirements
  • Follow established procedures while identifying opportunities for process improvement and efficiency
  • Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems in accordance with company standards


Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous office experience preferred; experience working in logistics with data preferred but not required
  • Experience working within Microsoft Suite (specifically Excel)
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn logistics, transportation, and supply chain operations from the ground up
