Job description

Flowserve is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Supply Chain Intern to join our Operations Manufacturing Seals team in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a global manufacturing organization while supporting key supply chain, procurement, inventory, and operational activities.
The successful candidate will work closely with supply chain professionals and manufacturing teams to improve efficiency, support inventory management, analyze data, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This role is ideal for students pursuing a degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support daily supply chain and operational activities within the manufacturing environment.
  • Assist with inventory management, cycle counting, and inventory accuracy initiatives.
  • Analyze supply chain data and develop reports to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with purchasing, planning, production, and logistics teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Help monitor supplier performance and delivery schedules.
  • Participate in process improvement and cost reduction projects.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation within ERP and supply chain systems.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and workflow.
  • Support special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
