Job description

The Physician Assistant (PA) is a vital member of the healthcare team, working primarily in outpatient clinics and urgent care centers under the supervision of a single physician. This role involves conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, managing medications, and providing follow-up care. The PA plays a critical role in clinical documentation and patient education, ensuring effective communication and continuity of care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct patient assessments to evaluate health status and symptoms
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests to aid in diagnosis
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physician
  • Manage and prescribe medications as appropriate
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation
  • Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care
  • Provide follow-up care to monitor patient progress and adjust treatments

Required Qualifications
