Job description

Production Associate

Summit Skilled Solutions (S3) is partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Northeast Ohio that is seeking dependable and hardworking individuals for 2nd and 3rd shift production opportunities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a long-term career within a manufacturing environment and grow into more technical machine operator positions over time.

This role will support production and packaging operations within a plastics manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting pay around $18-$20/hour

Responsibilities

  • Package finished products for shipment
  • Move and stack boxes/crates of finished material
  • Fill production hoppers with raw materials
  • Wrap and prepare skids for shipment
  • Assist machine operators and production personnel
  • Perform general labor and production support duties
  • Drill holes or complete minor finishing work on parts as needed
  • Safely move larger or longer materials throughout the facility
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all company safety and quality procedures

Qualifications

  • Manufacturing, warehouse, packaging, or general labor experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to lift, move, and stack materials throughout the shift
  • Strong attendance and reliability
  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working in a production/manufacturing environment
  • Drug screen and background check required, marijuana use will not keep you from employment
