The FABLAB serves as the digital fabrication studio for a range of art classes. We also host drop-in students wishing to gain hands on access to this equipment which we ensure happens in a safe educational setting. The FABLAB is located on the basement level of the Corcoran Flagg Building (B148) .

Position Specific Summary
The student will perform basic laboratory duties and maintain supplies and stocks/inventory. Tasks may include: assisting in specific projects being completed in the lab, cleaning equipment, assisting and monitoring lab usage. Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental needs.

This is an entry level position, little to no experience required, all training will be provided (Students working in an instructional capacity should be very familiar with the subject area in which they are working).
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with Adobe Suite(Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop) and other fabrication software(Makerbot slicer, Fusion 360, and Rhino). Familiarity with fabrication hardware such as 3D printers is a plus. Will also be exposed to a heat press and embroidery machine. Knowledge of Epson printers.
