Job description

We are an upbeat, fast-paced insurance agency with two locations: Durango & Cortez. We are passionate about helping others protect what they have worked so hard for, and we are looking for a dynamic individual to join our growing team in Cortez. This role will handle incoming insurance service & sales needs, with the goal of helping us grow our business & provide the best customer experience possible for all our customers. We are looking for an individual that is self-motivated, outgoing, detail oriented, fast learner, and that has exceptional customer service skills. If you are looking for a new career path and enjoy helping others, this could be the perfect role for you. This position is available as an entry level or mid-level position and must have or be able to obtain Property & Casualty License within 3 weeks. This is an in-office position, and not remote capable.

-Starting base pay: $17 - $20 p/hour (max pay range requires min 1 year P&C license & experience)

Responsibilities

Client Engagement: Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are understood and addressed.

Sales Target Achievement: Develop and implement strategies to meet and exceed sales targets and retention goals.

Insurance Consultation: Provide expert advice to clients on insurance options, tailoring solutions to best suit their individual requirements.

Client Retention: Implement strategies to improve client retention, addressing any concerns and providing proactive solutions.

Product Knowledge: Continuously update knowledge of insurance products and market trends to better serve clients.

Administrative Duties: Handle all relevant sales documentation and record-keeping in compliance with company policies.


Requirements

Requisite abilities and characteristics essential for this position:

Minimum of 1 year office experience required

Must be computer & technology savvy and able to pick up new systems quickly

Must be proficient with Microsoft systems

Must be able to type well, use proper grammar, & accurate spelling

Must be able to operate efficiently & accurately in a fast-paced environment

Fast Learner, great note taker, & great note utilization

Must be able to stay on task with constant interruptions & switching of tasks

Must be able to follow, retain, & implement verbal instruction

Must be capable of learning via screen sharing & video calls

Highly detail oriented

Exceptional customer service skills o Able to handle difficult scenarios/customers in calm & professional manner
