The Bank Teller plays a critical role at Servbank. They are responsible for providing excellent customer service accurately and efficiently handling a variety of financial transactions, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring compliance with banking policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

· Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.

· Assist customers with inquiries and provide information regarding their accounts and banking products.

· Educate customers on the bank's services and products to meet their financial needs.

Financial Transactions:

· Conduct accurate and secure financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments.

· Verify customer identification and authenticate transactions according to established procedures.

· Count and verify cash and checks, ensuring accuracy in handling and recording transactions.

Documentation and Reporting:

· Maintain and update customer account information and records in the bank's database.

· Generate necessary reports and documentation for transactions, account activities, and other required paperwork.

Cash Handling and Balancing:

· Manage and balance cash drawer and coin vault within specified limits, ensuring accuracy and adherence to security procedures.

· Prepare daily settlements and reconcile transactions to maintain financial accuracy.

Compliance and Security:

· Follow all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with banking laws and regulations.

· Adhere to security measures and protocols to safeguard customer information, bank assets, and prevent fraudulent activities.

Cross-selling:

· Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services, such as loans, credit cards, and investment opportunities, based on customer needs and preferences.

Problem Resolution:

· Address and resolve customer complaints, discrepancies, and inquiries in a timely and effective manner.

· Escalate complex issues to appropriate supervisors or departments for resolution.

· Perform other duties assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications and Skills:

· High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in finance or related field is a plus.

· Strong numerical and analytical skills.

· Excellent customer service and communication skills.

· Attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial transactions.
